# Components:
→ Bread
01 - 4 cups sourdough bread, cut into 1-inch cubes, preferably day-old (approximately 7 ounces)
→ Seasoning
02 - 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
03 - 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
04 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs blend (basil, oregano, and thyme)
05 - ½ teaspoon sea salt
06 - ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
07 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional garnish)
# Directions:
01 - Preheat your air fryer to 375°F for 2 to 3 minutes until fully heated.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, dried Italian herbs, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Mix thoroughly to create an even coating.
03 - Add sourdough cubes to the seasoning mixture and toss until all bread pieces are evenly coated with oil and seasonings.
04 - Arrange coated bread cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
05 - Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until croutons are golden brown and crispy throughout.
06 - Transfer croutons to a bowl and toss with fresh parsley if desired. Allow to cool completely before serving or storing.
