01 - 2 large cucumbers

02 - 7 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
04 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
05 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

08 - 5 oz smoked salmon slices
→ Garnish
09 - 1 tablespoon capers, drained
10 - Extra dill sprigs or fresh chives, for garnish
# Directions:
01 - Wash and dry cucumbers. Slice into ½-inch thick rounds. Arrange on a serving platter.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
03 - Using a spoon or piping bag, place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber slice.
04 - Cut smoked salmon into small pieces or ribbons. Gently place salmon atop each cheese-topped cucumber.
05 - Finish each bite with a caper and a sprig of dill or a sprinkle of chives. Serve immediately or chill for up to 1 hour.
